Parents sign in. Kids don't get accounts and never sign in or type anything in about themselves. Kid mode runs on a parent's phone, under the parent's login, and only lets a kid reorder their own wishlist.

• Your email address, to send magic sign-in links. No passwords.
• What you type in: household name, kids' first names, optional birthdays, deeds and notes, events.
• Wishlist items: titles, prices, product links and optional photos. Please photograph the toy, not your kid. Photos are stored at long random web addresses that aren't listed anywhere, but anyone who has an exact address can open it.
• Shop clicks: which wish and the store's domain name. Not the full link, not your IP address.
• Purchases: Stripe's reference numbers and the amount. Never your card.

Only the ones the app needs: staying signed in, remembering which event you're looking at, and Kid mode on this device. No analytics or advertising cookies.

• Supabase: database, sign-in emails and photo storage.
• Vercel: hosting.
• Stripe: payments. Card details go straight to Stripe.

For price alerts, our server visits the product links you saved to read the current price. Stores see our server, not you.

Like most websites, these providers keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security and debugging.

When you tap Shop, some stores may pay us a small commission. On Amazon, we add our Associates tag only when the link doesn't already have one, and we say so right under the button. It never changes your price. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.

You can edit or remove kids, deeds, wishes and photos in the app at any time. To delete your whole household and account, or to get a copy of your data, email hello@merrymeter.com from the address you sign in with.

If this page changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top and tell you in the app.
